Upper Redhill, Wellingborough

 Upper Redhill is a major sustainable urban expansion to the north of Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. Following a successful planning appeal in June 2009, the Secretary of State granted planning permission in February 2010.

The Upper Redhill scheme is located on c. 620 acres and comprises 3,000 new homes. The scheme also includes an extensive green open space network covering over 90 hectares; leisure facilities and sports pitches; a neighbourhood centre with new shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, office and studio space, community facilities and a health centre; 25,000 sq. m of B1 office space.  The completed development will provide around 2,500 new jobs.
